The Story Behind Filthy Fairways

Every brand starts somewhere. Ours started on the golf course.

Filthy Fairways CC originally began as Garbage Golf in 2024, when I was playing high school golf. What started as an idea quickly became something I wanted to bring to life through clothing. I designed the first pieces, ordered a sample, and took my first step toward building a brand of my own.

But after that first sample, I hit a wall. I had the designs and the vision, but I didn't yet know how to build a brand, market it, or get it in front of the right people. Eventually, I put the idea on hold.

Fast forward to 2026. During my sophomore year of college, a conversation with my roommate about clothing brands brought everything back. I showed him the original designs, and he saw the same potential that inspired me to start the brand in the first place. That conversation gave me the push I needed to pick things back up.

As I revisited the brand, I realized it was time for a change. Garbage Golf was where the idea began, but Filthy Fairways CC felt like a better reflection of the identity I wanted to build. The name changed, but the vision stayed the same.

Filthy Fairways CC is where golf culture meets streetwear. It's built around the idea that you don't have to take yourself too seriously to love the game. It's for the players who embrace the bad shots, laugh off the rough rounds, and bring their own personality to the course. Whether you're striping drives or searching for your ball in the trees, there's a place for you here.

This brand is about more than golf apparel. It's about creating something of my own, building a community around the game, and turning an idea that started in high school into something real.

What started as Garbage Golf is now Filthy Fairways CC. New name, same roots, and a whole lot more to come.
